"Alice came to speak at our organisation's Operations Conference, she was the first session of the day, which we reserve for motivational presentations, so it can be a tough slot as it sets the tone for the rest of the day.  Alice rose to the challenge, and I couldn’t have asked for more with her presentation which centred around her work with the all female anti-poaching unit ‘The Black Mambas’.  
 
Not only was their story truly inspiring, but Alice’s contribution and humility resonated with the audience.  Alice had done her homework (not always the case, I can assure you) and successfully linked the emotional investment in saving wild animals to the work my team do every day with stray and abandoned dogs.
